Clarifying Your Flight Training Path

Essential answers on course duration, admission criteria, academic curriculum, and CAAP licensing standards.

We specialize in the Flight Dispatcher Initial Training Course (FDIC), providing comprehensive ground school education, flight operations simulation, and recurrent training solutions designed to exceed Philippine Civil Aviation Regulations (PCAR) standards.
The flight dispatcher initial training course typically takes between two to three months. However, the exact duration may vary depending on the student's availability, cohort pacing, and scheduling.
Applicants seeking to enroll at Waypoint must submit the following documents:
• A copy of their birth certificate
• A copy of their college diploma
• Transcript of Records (TOR)
• A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Proof of being at least 21 years of age
A college degree is not a requirement for PCAR. However, we are unable to accept undergraduate students, as the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) upholds stringent standards for the issuance of Flight Dispatcher licenses, in alignment with the high expectations of the aviation industry. We deeply value your time, effort, and financial investment, and we are committed to ensuring that these are not expended in vain.
The course includes 13 essential aviation subjects: Aerodynamics & Principles of Flight (POF), Aircraft Systems & Instruments, Human Factors / Dispatcher Resource Management (DRM), Air Law, Meteorology, Air Traffic Control, Communications, Aircraft Weight & Balance, Aircraft Performance, Navigation, Flight Planning & Practical Dispatch, Security & Emergency Procedures, and Dangerous Goods.
